It was my first time here. My partner loves this place and we decided to go on a date. The food is super tasty, big plates and despite it is a bit expensive, it is absolutely worth it. The place has been open since the 80s I believe and they have minimally changed the decor, which I appreciate it. Crew super nice, something I am not used to see in Ktown area were they always rush you to finish and leave. If you want great sushi and fish dishes and don't mind paying more than average, you need to go!

High quality sushi and Japanese staff - gives you the ultimate authentic experience of sushi dining. Ordered the baked salmon, crunch roll, tempura roll, tres amigos and nigiri - all delicious. Would recommend!

A restaurant whose existence relies upon a farmer who supplies them with ingredients, could so easily be a recipe for disaster were it not in safe hands. I love this place, I love what it stands for. I love there’s a full grocery adjacent so you can pick up some greens, local, honey, spices, carrots, etc. a visit to Ojai isn’t the same without stopping here. Just go. Thank me later.

I enjoy eating at Noshi Sushi because I enjoy eating the Teriyaki’s Chicken and Tempera. They also do Sushi so you can either dine in or take out. They also have a Dynamite Dish and Crunchy Rolls. Usually we have to pay Noshi Sushi for Cash. I like the Chicken and Tempura because I enjoy the Chicken Breast and the Tempura is really delicious. And the way they handle the Chicken and Tempura is Beautiful and looks good. So this is a good place to either dine in or take out for Noshi Sushi.

We have been going to Noshi Sushi for decades. Since a new change of owners, flavors, freshness and combination of spices have qualitatively improved. Come to this place, all that we ordered were yummy and fresh.

Thanks to my coworker, I finally checked out this old school sushi restaurant in K-town, which has been around since the 80s. She told me it's "hole in the wall" but a more accurate description would be "retro nostalgic" in terms of decor. It's got the same vibes as many of the restaurants I frequented in Japan. We mainly ordered off the July specials menu - sadly they were out of raw octopus but the sawara (Spanish mackerel) was sooo good, nice and soft. We wanted to order more but my coworker accidentally ordered saba (Norwegian mackerel) instead (which was still good just a different texture). After tax and tip the total was just under $50 for each of us - pretty good value for money. The amount of rice in each nigiri was just right, not too much. The server kept my green tea constantly refilled so I never had to ask. A couple of areas for improvement: my piece of premium Toro had a chewy bit (probably connective tissue), it was also pretty busy at lunch so it took effort to get our chefs attention to order more items. Of note, we sat at the bar and learned they can create separate checks for us. But we combined orders when making requests and didn't specify who was ordering what, so in the end the checks didn't turn out correct. We ended up telling the server to add them back together and split it in half (sorry...) There is a small parking lot but it was full. It was not too hard to find street parking. We wrote our name down on the list at the front, but there wasn't really much of a wait.

Noshi continues to be one of my favorite sushi places in LA. It's no frills, affordable, great quality and good service. There's a parking lot behind the building. This time we ordered yellowtail sashimi (served with hot rice on the side), salmon belly nigiri, yellow nigiri, yellowtail belly, spider roll, spicy scallop, unagi, toro roll, baked mayo ebi

Came here for lunch for sushi and was satisfied! Had the tres amigos, spicy tuna, calamari, and udon! It was pretty refreshing and good! Their udon was also solid as well! There are lots of options to choose from! Service is very friendly and helpful too! Good for all casual occasions! Parking at the back!

Been coming here on and off for 2 decades and glad it's still around and wonderful. It's nearby my workplace so this place I take coworkers to treat them for a special occasion. Bought many take-out dinners here during covid lol. They have tamari.
